Two-vehicle collision in Highland Park leaves one dead

LOS ANGELES – A man, approximately 60 years old, was killed and another man was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles, a city fire department spokesman said today.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash in the 4600 block of Marmion Way at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

The man in his 60s died at the scene. The other man, approximately 30 years old, was an occupant in another vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, Scott said.
