Huntington Middle School Hosts Mini Relay for Life

An estimated 1.66 million people in the United States will develop cancer in 2015. Nearly 589,500 will die from cancer this year.

As 12-year-old Lawrence Chung ran around the Huntington Middle School track field on Friday, he read different signs that presented facts like these, provided by the American Cancer Society. Chung, along with about 150 people, ran a mini Relay for Life.

It was the third annual Relay for Life event that worked to bring the community together to learn about cancer.
