San Marino Police Department Addresses Resident’s Public Safety Concerns

It was standing-room only as San Marino residents listened to police officers speak on how to prevent crime in the city.

The San Marino Police Department held a community meeting Tuesday, April 28 to discuss crime statistics, identity theft, and strategies about protecting the home as well as the neighborhood watch program.

Lt. Richard Ward showed a chart of burglaries and larcenies from 2012 to 2015 year-to-date. So far this year, the city has had 26 burglaries and 26 larcenies. Comparatively to last year’s first quarter there were 21 burglaries and 32 larcenies.
