San Marino Police Department Reports Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins at the High School

Principal Mary Johnson released the following statement in an e-blast on Tuesday, June 2:

San Marino Police Department has reported several vehicle break-ins in our parking lots recently. In all cases, one of the following elements was reported: possessions in full view, unlocked car doors, windows rolled down providing full access to the vehicles. Please take basic precautions when parking in our lots. Lock your car doors, place all possessions out of view, and never leave windows down providing easy access to the vehicle. The problem is growing, and there is evidence the thieves are professionals. Let’s try to make it very hard for them to accomplish their misdeeds quickly because of owner negligence. Anyone witnessing suspicious activities in the lots is urged to call 911 immediately.

Thank you for being part of the solution,
Mrs. Johnson
