The San Marino Tribune will host the 11th annual J.P. Blecksmith Memorial 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, July 4th. The race starts at 8 a.m. with registration opening at 6:45 a.m. in front of the San Marino Tribune offices at 1441 San Marino Ave. Proceeds go to the J.P. Blecksmith Leadership Foundation at Flintridge Prep, where the United States Naval Academy appointee attended high school. Participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt.
