The Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles held its 54th June Debutante Ball on June 13 in the Ballroom of the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
Nearly 500 members and guests celebrated the presentation of 28 young women, who together with their families have supported the important work of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Proceeds from the June Ball will support the Pasadena Guild’s current project The Pasadena Guild Endowed Chair in Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine.
This year, the guild is celebrating its 68th year. Established in 1947 by a small group of dedicated hospital volunteers, the Pasadena Guild has raised more than $28 million throughout the years, successfully completing seven guild endowments in Pediatric Eye Cancer, Pediatric Surgery, Adolescent Medicine, Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Research as well as Developmental Biology endowments in partnership with the Saban Research Institute, and one capital campaign.
