Nine-year-old San Marino resident Olivia is in the middle of spending five weeks getting to know Shakespeare.
In just a couple weeks, she’s delved into several of his books including “The Tempest” and “Twelfth Night” and acted out scenes as different characters. Olivia is taking part in A Noise Within’s Summer with Shakespeare along with 105 other kids between six and 18 years old.
“I don’t think we’ll ever learn about this in normal school,” she said commenting that she wants to learn all about movement, and of course sword fighting.
As someone who wants to grow up to be an actor, she said she is having fun spending her time at the theater. All the games they play relate to acting in some way, Olivia said.
“I just love this camp,” she said.
