A local group of music lovers have now formed the 16th Affiliate committee of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
The San Marino-Pasadena Affiliate Committee of the LA Philharmonic had its inaugural member kick off party on Oct. 1 at a San Marino home.
“We all love music and we believe that the LA Philharmonic is the best orchestra in the whole world,” said Maryann Seduski, co-president of the San Marino-Pasadena Affiliate Committee.
The Affiliate groups support the Los Angeles Philharmonic in areas such as youth music education, fundraising, audience development and community awareness.
“The purpose of the San Marino-Pasadena Affiliate Committee shall be to support the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and to further culture and educational values of music to the community, with special emphasis on youth,” committee PR Chair Bonny Hsu said.
