The 48th Annual Treasures and Trivia will take place on Friday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday Oct. 24, 11 a.m. – 3p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 60 North Sunnyslope Avenue in Pasadena. Admission is free.

Proceeds benefit the life-saving research and patient care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Loyal customers line up eagerly before the doors open every year in anticipation of the three-day sale, which is organized by members of the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

At Treasures and Trivia, shoppers will find more than 20,000 square feet of bargains including vintage, couture and gently used clothing, antiques, art estate items, furniture, jewelry, linens, sporting goods, household items, small electronics, toys, holiday décor, notions, art, gardening items, and many other treasures.

Treasures and Trivia is an annual tradition in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. PGCH members, local businesses and the community at large respond generously by donating the items featured in the sale. Guild members work throughout the year sorting and marking merchandise for sale to the public. Many shoppers attend every year and some come on all three days. Others are community residents who appreciate the opportunity to buy quality goods at reasonable prices.

This year the guild is celebrating its 68th year. Established in 1947 by a small group of dedicated hospital volunteers from the Pasadena area, the Guild has raised more than $28 million throughout the years, successfully completing seven guild endowments in Pediatric Eye Cancer, Pediatric Surgery, Adolescent Medicine, Bone and Soft Tumor Research as well as Developmental Biology endowments in partnership with the Saban Research Institute and one capital campaign.
