By 37-Stroke Margin Over Runners-Up Dos Pueblos

The Ojai weather was inclement, the Lady Titans’ scores were crisp and San Marino has yet another CIF championship to add to their formidable collection.
Sophomore Elizabeth Wang fired a one-under par 71, classmate Bella Setio carded an even-par 72, junior Vivian Sun shot 76, junior Cameron McCrary was a stroke behind at 77 and freshman Ada Wong capped the scoring with a 78 as the Lady Titans won the CIF Northern Division girls’ golf championship on Nov. 2 with a team score of 374 – 37 strokes better than runner-up Dos Pueblos. Oaks Christian finished third.
Twenty teams assembled on Monday at Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai, a late rain and windstorm causing a sizeable delay, but all six in San Marino blue were able to finish. Alex Chen shot 81, but the CIF adds together only the top five.
