On Saturday, November 7, the SMHS Marching Band competed in the Los Altos Field Show Competition at La Puente High School.
San Marino easily earned first place in its separate divisions. Auxiliary and Band earned 76.0 and 83.1, respectively.
SMHS Marching Band continues to improve its score at every competition, and the members look to qualifying for championships.
“The last time we made championships was two years ago, and we got to go to San Diego, which was an absolutely spectacular experience. Because of how special that time was, I’m very excited to participate again this year, albeit in a new division,” said Band President Sandy Fauré.
