San Marino Day at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens has not even completed its first edition, and it is already proving to be a hit. Though the event is free of charge, tickets are required for attendance – and are almost gone.

A collaboration between The Huntington and San Marino’s Chamber of Commerce, the April 5 celebration includes cuisine sampling at the Chamber of Commerce’s “Taste of San Marino,” live music, a preview of the San Marino Centennial Photo Project, a classic car display and an opportunity to get up close and personal with equipment form the San Marino Fire Department. Approximately 25 restaurants have already made plans to be in attendance.

All gardens, many of The Huntington’s art galleries and The Huntington Store will be open as well. Tickets are required for this free event through huntington.ticketleap.com/sanmarinoday.

For additional information, contact Fan Wang at fwang@huntington.org or (626)405-2123.

Food enthusiast Peter Dills will host the Chamber’s annual “Best Of” awards and there will be a raffle and silent auction.

San Marino Day will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the Art Gallery Circle.

California American Water is the premiere event sponsor while Gail Rogue of Roque & Associates; Ameriprise Financial; San Marino Security Systems and Tina M. Siu, DDS are event sponsors. The San Marino Tribune is proud to again serve as media sponsor.

For more information contact the San Marino Chamber of Commerce office at 286-1022 or sanmarinochamber@att.net; or Fan Wang at fwang@huntington.org, or 405-2123.
