Chinese Club of San Marino Is Preparing For Mid-Autumn Festival

The Chinese Club of San Marino’s Mid-Autumn Festival is right around the corner. The annual celebration is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 5 at the San Gabriel Hilton.

A few tickets remain for the event, for which the theme is ‘You Can Make A Difference.’

“This is my way of giving recognition to community service and volunteerism,” said John Chou, incoming president of the Chinese Club of San Marino and chair of the 2016 Mid-Autumn Festival. “I feel the willingness of the residents of San Marino to devote their time to volunteering is a very important reason why San Marino is such a great community to live in and to raise a family,” Chou told The Tribune. “Volunteering is all about selflessness and the greater good of the community and, to me, volunteers are our unsung heroes.”

One of the features of this year’s event is the live auction, which includes several valuable rings, necklaces and earrings.

For tickets or more information about the Mid-Autumn Festival, please call the Chinese Club of San Marino at 796-5190 or drop by at 2425 Huntington Drive.
