San Marino Schools On Lockdown

Local authorities are looking for a San Marino High School freshman who did not report to school this morning and may be armed with 1-3 handguns, according to a report from the San Marino Police Dept.

Aldric Partovi, 15, was last seen by his parents at 9:00 a.m. this morning and had not been heard from as of 12:00 noon today. The young man had apparently argued with his parents over a disagreement he had with a female SMHS student last weekend.

All four SMUSD campuses have been locked down. When reached in his office at 10:55 a.m., Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss told The Tribune he felt the situation would soon reach a resolution.

At 11:36 p.m., the San Marino Police Dept. dispatched a report naming the suspect and included a photo. Aldric – who played fro San Marino High School’s freshman football team last fall, resides in the Los Angeles County region near Carver Elementary School.

Aldric was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
