The 9th annual Titan Golf Classic tees off on Monday, April 24 at San Gabriel Country Club as the golf committee honors its legends.
“All Titan alumni, alumni parents and current Titan parents who have helped make San Marino High School legendary are encouraged to join us,” said Titan Golf Classic committee co-chair Leanne Snaer. “Come out for a fun day on the links with fellow Titan friends, old and new. There will be something for everyone.”
Golf will use the Callaway scoring system and competitors will be divided into two men’s flights and a woman’s grouping. There will be a putting contest for non-golfers, cocktails, and dinner. An opportunity drawing will be held with excellent prizes.
A shotgun start will take place at 12:00 noon with a boxed lunch provided by Carl Schuster and Wolfgang Puck. The putting contest for non-golfers will begin at 4:00 p.m. with cocktails and appetizers. At 5:00 p.m., awards will be given to the tournament winners with dinner to follow. The community is welcome to spend the evening socializing with friends on the newly renovated clubhouse patio that includes fire pits, lounge chairs an outdoor bar and games.
