The San Marino Garden Club November meeting recently took place at the Hill Harbison House, where new members Avery Barth and Amy Chang-Levack were welcomed. Club President Gretchen Shepherd Romey and Treasurer Lisa Wong presented “Farm-to-Table Fall Cooking From Your Garden.” Recipes and demonstrations included harvest pumpkin bread, pomegranate and quinoa salads, a roasted beet salad, and pasta with escarole, sausage and cheese. Recipes and samples of each were distributed to all members and guests, and the time was filled with good food, good cheer and good conversation, along with cooking and gardening tips.
