“Moho” Catches On at Xavier

Taking the next step in realizing his lifelong ambition, Mohammed Haroon – a 2017 graduate of San Marino High School – has been assigned the role of manager for Xavier University’s men’s basketball team. Haroon, who had a similar role and even played in the Titans’ final home game last spring, has aspirations even beyond the college game.

“It’s not often you come across a driven individual like Mohammed, a young kid that knew from the first day that he stepped on our high school campus that he wanted to be an NBA general manager in his future,” said San Marino High School head basketball Coach Mihail Papadopulos. “Xavier is one of the elite NCAA Division I programs and Coach Chris Mack is one of the best coaches and mentors at the collegiate level. It’s not an easy task to earn a spot on that Big East conference team but Moho, as we call him, will do great. We are so proud of him. Xavier analytics is about to go to another level.”
