The Chinese School of San Marino recently hosted its annual New Year’s Carnival, which, this year, celebrates the Year of the Dog.
The carnival started with welcomes from CCSM PTA President Lauria Lou and Chinese Club President Alan Chen. Festivities included a lion dance, a kung fu performance, games, orchid sale, boba drinks, and yummy Chinese food catered by Taipei Bistro and Copycat Café.
The event is a fundraiser for the Chinese School PTA’s movie night, teachers’ appreciation, and other enrichment events. The event is also a way for those who cannot visit their homeland to enjoy the Lunar New Year.
The Chinese School PTA is the parent group dedicated to supporting education at the Chinese School of San Marino, which is a part of the Chinese Club of San Marino.
