Valentine Elementary School held its Lunar New Year Celebration last week, welcoming in the Year of the Dog. Event chairs Fion Chan, Vivian Lu, Jasmine Huang and Evelyn Xu organized a program of special entertainment, martial arts demonstrations and crafts over two days for the students as well as a delicious meal for the teachers and staff. Jing Li of Wu Shu Action Star Academy choreographed the students’ martial arts performance and taught Kung Fu moves during P.E. time.
