SMHS Hiking Club Ready for Rambles

A hiking club recently was formed at San Marino High School, with more than a dozen students and a couple of chaperones taking a Sunday stroll at the popular Eaton Canyon Falls.
“It was great,” said club adviser Zak Quiggle, an English teacher at SMHS. “It was crowded, but it was a good experience for everyone. We had to cross the stream seven or eight times and many kids ended up with wet feet, but they were all in good spirits.”
Quiggle reported that the waterfalls were flowing briskly and many of the hikers waded in chilly water.
“I found this experience to be very fun, exciting, and out of the box,” said Yuki Li, a sophomore. “Hiking Club is a fun activity to get with your friends, enjoy the outdoors and create memories.”
