Huntington Charity League, formerly National Charity League Juniors of San Marino, has been busy over the summer in supporting the neonatal intensive care unit at Huntington Hospital.
Philanthropy chair Lina Wu dropped off a $700 clothing donation to the NICU. All clothes were in preemie and newborn sizes, and there also were hand-knit caps. The donation was made in lieu of the league’s annual baby shower at the hospital
Charity League members also gave the hospital a check backed by funds raised by their group’s February gala. Such funds are used for nursing scholarships, Parent Connection and equipment used by the NICU.
