SMPD Crime Report

A report of petty theft was filed on Monday, Jan. 10, when a bicycle was stolen in the 2000 block of Huntington Drive.

A catalytic converter from a victim’s parked vehicle was reported stolen in the 1800 block of Twin Palms Drive on Monday, Jan. 10. Officers filed a grand theft report.

A residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of San Marino when an intruder entered a home on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

A petty theft was reported on Thursday, Jan. 13, by a resident in the 1400 block of Wilson Avenue after missing property was removed from the victim’s driveway.

A report was taken on Thursday, Jan. 13, in the SMPD’s lobby for lost property. The location of the alleged crime was not released.

Property was reported missing from a victim’s vehicle in the 2300 block of Brentford Road on Friday, Jan. 14.

Officers responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles that resulted in injuries at San Marino Avenue and Euston Road on Friday, Jan.14.

The San Marino Police Department had 389 calls for service between Sunday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 15. There was one residential burglary reported, the first of the year in 2022. Information was gathered from a department memorandum summarizing key incidents handled during this period.
