“I think that we did some really good things considering this was our first game since Dec. 28,” said head coach Liz Reuter. “We did a nice job of shaking off the rust and our defensive pressure was very good.”
Reuter commended her players and their families for negotiating the uncertainties that are frequently presented during the pandemic.
“We sometimes don’t know what we are going to end up doing on any given day but they have done an incredible job showing up and doing whatever they are asked,” said the second-year coach. “It has been very refreshing. My kids and families have been so flexible and solid. It has been very refreshing.”
San Marino travels to Monrovia tomorrow for a 5:15 p.m. meeting with the Wildcats.
