Carver Stands Together for Spring Concert

The Carver Pioneers recently welcomed families to campus for the Patriotic Spring Concert, “Together We Stand.”

Prior to the start of the show, Principal Micheal Lin recognized Rick Yeganeh, Ed Zee and Eric Lee with the Mr. Carver Award, which is given to fathers or grandfathers who have given exceptional volunteer service to the school. The title “Mr. Carver” is a tradition that reflects the appreciation and acknowledges the importance of men being involved in the school community.

The 3rd– through 5th-grade students then took the stage with songs and speeches filled in red, white and blue.

Event chairs Darbin Chan and Belinda Hwang attribute the concert’s success to support from Carver Principal Michael Lin, music director Rebecca Carr, music teacher Sarah Tokazowski, pianist Julia Greer and dedicated parent volunteers.

“We are truly grateful and proud of all the 3rd-5th grade teachers and students who went above and beyond in rehearsing and performing four wonderful shows with excellent spirit and unwavering enthusiasm in displaying American patriotism,” Chan and Hwang said in a joint statement. “It’s been such an honor and a blessing to be a part of making this a memorable time for our Carver families.”
