NCL San Marino Graduates Are on Their Way

The San Marino area chapter of the National Charity League, Inc. hosted its first in-person Presentation Tea since the COVID-19 pandemic started at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, June 12.

“The Presentation Tea is a time that we celebrate our graduating seniors and their mothers for their six years of service to our chapter and to the philanthropies in our community,” said Nancy Ko, vice president of the tea and ball. “It is a way for us to also recognize their accomplishments and to wish them well in the next part of their life.”

Cyrus Cervantes Lutero and Ko gave the welcoming introductions to the 300-plus guests in attendance, followed by President-elect Olive Choa’s presentation of awards and recognitions.

After the 22 members of the graduating Class of 2022 were presented with their mothers, a fashion show by the Class of 2023 added flare to the festivities.
