The San Marino High School girls’ varsity softball team got off to a rough start last Friday afternoon in the Rio Hondo League opener at Temple City.
Helene Miller pitched well for the Titans, Illiannie Carillo was outstanding in the outfield and Sophia Bilvado was also clutch at the plate for the Titans, who lost by a final score of 10-0.
“Overall, we were very pleased,” said head coach Scott Edmonds.
San Marino hosts South Pasadena on Friday, March 10. First pitch is at 3:30 p.m.
