The San Marino High School Class of 2023 was invited to an entertaining Senior Movie Night experience as they count down the final weeks of their senior year.
In anticipation of this year’s Studio Ghibli-themed Grad Night, students viewed the Japanese animated fantasy film, “Howl’s Moving Castle” (2004) in the school’s Webb Theater.
The senior class was also treated to a Chick-fil-A dinner, traditional movie theater popcorn and a wide-ranging and colorful candy bar selection.
The event was sponsored by the SMHS PTSA and organized by the Grad Night committee, including Senior Movie Night chair Kathy Osegueda, who was impressed by the senior class turnout and enthusiasm.
Senior Movie Night is part of a series of anticipatory events leading up to the May 26 graduation and Grad Night celebration. Countless parent volunteers and community members are working together to create an extraordinary affair for the graduating class. For more information about Grad Night 2023, visit smhsgradnight.com.
