Man Arrested After Allegedly Brandishing Firearm

A man suspected of possessing several guns and a white powdery substance resembling cocaine was arrested following a collision in San Marino on Tuesday, April 25.
San Marino Police Department officers responded to Huntington Drive and San Gabriel Boulevard at around 2 p.m. to reports about a two-vehicle traffic collision, with one motorist standing outside his vehicle and brandishing a handgun, according to Sgt. Vince Wilson.
The man, a resident of Azusa, was arrested without further incident. Detectives conducted a body search and discovered a loaded firearm on the suspect’s waistband, Wilson said.
Officers also located another loaded firearm in the man’s truck, along with a white powdery substance resembling cocaine inside his backpack on the front passenger seat.
The other driver involved in the collision was taken to a hospital for pain, but the person’s condition is unknown.
