Junior Alliance Hosts ‘Spirit of Ohana’ Benefit

The San Marino Junior Alliance held its “Spirit of Ohana” benefit on April 29.
The Hawaiian-themed fundraiser was held at the San Gabriel Country Club, where there were more than 100 attendees at the annual event. Co-Chairs Janet Sedgwick and Jacqueline Ficht hosted the event, along with Casa Treatment Center CEO Nely Meza Andrade.
The event benefits and supports Casa Treatment Center, a 24-hour nonmedical substance abuse treatment program in Pasadena that emphasizes abstinence from alcohol and/or other mind-altering substances and encourages the physical, mental and spiritual growth in the recovery process while also addressing co-occurring disorders.
Established in 1967, Casa offers hope and recovery to women through love, knowledge and understanding.
