Doris Louise Wyatt

July 28, 1940 – August 18, 2020

It is with deep sadness that the family of Doris Wyatt announces her passing August 18, 2020. Doris Louise Trillingham was born and raised in San Marino, California.
Doris was the beloved only child of Dr. Clinton Trillingham (superintendent of LAUSD from 1942 until his retirement in 1967), and his wife Mildred Trillingham.
Doris enjoyed skating as a young girl and modeling as a young woman. She attended the University of Redlands where she met her first husband Walt Miller. Doris continued modeling during this time until the birth of their daughter, Danielle. Eight years later Doris and Walt adopted their son Tal.
Doris was a loving daughter, mother and friend. Her entrepreneurial spirit enabled her to start her own business, The Green Scene, and her hard work ensured she was able to raise her son and support them both. During the last years of his life Doris cared for her father until his passing in 1992.
Later in life Doris met, dated and married Don Wyatt. She embraced Don’s children Tom, Ashley and Kristine, their spouses and children as her own. Doris and Don had wonderful adventures together including an Alaskan cruise and enjoyed the wild horses living near their home in the Rainbow Bend area of Sparks, Nevada.
Doris was an incredible friend. She made lifelong friendships to which she attended with dedication. She was a great listener who asked helpful questions but offered advice only when it was requested. Doris was one of the kindest people anyone would have the good fortune to meet and keep in their life.
Celebration of Life to be planned for a future date.
Doris is survived by her husband, Don Wyatt; Daughter, Danielle “Dani” Miller, Son William Talbert Miller, his wife, Michelle, and their children, Jake and Austin.
