San Marino Historical Society treated its members to appetizers from Sweet and Savory and wines at the Thurnher House at Lacy Park. The open house was the first of its kind for the organization in many decades, and was a fine opportunity for society members to mingle and look at photos and artifacts from San Marino’s past. With nearly 250 members, the organization was pleased that the event was so well attended. Thurnher House, the society’s home, is open each Sunday to visitors. Interested parties are encouraged to join the society and discover the significance of our city.
