The patrons of Valentine Elementary School’s recent Fall Fair gathered at the home of Debbie and Bryan Merryman on Friday night to snack on sushi, sip a sparkling cocktail called “Galaxy Punch” and celebrate the fair’s success. Glow-in-the-dark party ice, bracelets and straws added to the fun of a get-together that was co-chaired by Kelly Duncan and Daisy Wilson and to which 50-plus patrons were invited.
The support of the family patrons was critical to the success of the “Vikings in Space” fair, which was co-chaired by Jennifer Kang and Zeina Daoud; more than $32,000 was raised by the generous donors through the fair’s patron campaign.
