Residents Help New Fire Engine Move In

The San Marino Fire Department invited residents to help dedicate its new fire engine last weekend, a ceremony that involved transferring water from the predecessor into the newcomer’s reservoir and also backing the vehicle into the station. The old engine will serve as the department’s reserve while this one takes the role as the primary engine for the next 10 years. The city invested $698,657 in the new engine, which is custom designed for the department’s needs.
