San Marino residents and friends kicked off their Fourth of July observance with an invigorating and meaningful run through the city. The J.P. Blecksmith Memorial 5K celebrates the life and legacy of a young Marine lieutenant who was killed in action in Iraq and honors all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. military. The run benefits the J.P. Blecksmith Leadership Foundation.
