The 2019 San Marino National Little League Opening Day Ceremony took place Saturday at the Michael Nesbit Majors Field at Huntington Middle School. SMNLL board President Dan Giddings welcomed the crowd and introduced VIPs and board members. Players took the Little League pledge and parents followed suit, making a commitment to good sportsmanship. Tyler and Kayla Giddings had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. Opening Day co-chairs were Allie Dietrick, Danica Hughes and Cassie Zappaterreno, and vice president of events is Michele Esbenshade.
