Valentine Elementary School recently held its annual Bike Rodeo. With the help of the San Marino police and Principal Colleen Shields, students who plan on riding a bike to school were tested on the rules of the road and bike safety, as well as their ability to master an obstacle course. The general condition of the students’ bikes was also checked by officers before issuing the bike licenses. Co-chairs Maren Pellant and Allison McCroskey helped organize the event.
