Gretchen Shepherd Romey filled in for President Debra Spaulding at the San Marino Garden Club’s recent meeting, welcoming all members and guests and leading the seasonal planter hands-on program.
There was a full house in the Barth Room at Crowell Public Library, thanks to the presence of more than 30 members and guests. Everyone went home with a beautiful fall centerpiece, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Members reviewed the finalists in the “Most Beautiful Garden” program, and the winner will be revealed soon.
The club’s annual Holiday Tea will take place on Dec. 11 at the home of Avery Barth.
