The San Marino Schools Foundation, which is saluting its supporters throughout May, recently hosted its annual Donor Recognition Party at the Ellis family’s home. The party honored those whose giving, at the “partner” level and above, has helped the foundation close the gap between what the state provides in funding for San Marino Unified School District students and what the SMUSD needs to remain a top system.
The foundation also will recognize supporters though its Yard Sign campaign this month.
“We use these opportunities to publicly thank our supporters who continue to empower excellence within our schools and communities,” SMSF board President Chris Maling said. “Donations from the community and parents help further the quality of education that SMUSD has provided to its students for generations.”
