Following several months of intensive planning efforts by dozens of parent committee members, Valentine Royale will take place on Saturday, April 11th at the San Gabriel Country Club. Around 300 parents, faculty, and school board members are anticipated to attend this year’s Valentine Parent Party which is the school’s largest social fundraising event of the year. This year’s theme is based on the classic and remake of the thrilling James Bond Casino Royale films.
“Jenny and I are overwhelmed by the generosity of this community, particularly with the donations for our auction and patron drive. We are especially thankful for our Parent Party committee who have been working around the clock to make this evening one everyone will enjoy,” commented Parent Party co-chair Michele Esbenshade.
Fundraising events will run prior to the gala night including an online auction complete with silent auction items, class baskets, and popular “teacher treats.” At the event, children’s classroom art projects featuring chess sets, a super silent auction and a live auction which includes the coveted Principal for a Day and many other desirable items will be offered. Opportunity drawing sales will continue to run until event night when a grand prize winner will be announced.
Countless parents have not only volunteered their time but have also helped fund this event through their patron donations. Proceeds from the online auction (which runs Thursday, March 26th through Thursday, April 9th) and gala benefit will continue to support Valentine’s PTA funded programs in areas such as art, music, science and technology. The Valentine Royale benefit is co-chaired by Valentine moms Michele Esbenshade and Jenny Yessaian.
