Huntington Students Win High Marks at Music Festival

DSC0273

A total of 145 Huntington Music students participated in the recent music festival Friday, April 24 to Saturday, April 25.

The music festival is the equivalent to the school’s academic tests of the SBAC or the CSTS as they serve as a summative evaluation of what is happening in the music classroom. It also places the students on the national stage to compete.

There were over 1,700 students there, representing 22 schools, including high schools. They performed in the Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Band, Bel Canto Choir and Wind Ensemble.
