Robbery Suspect in Custody

On Jan. 20 at approximately 4:46 p.m., the San Marino Police Department received a call of a possible PC 211 / Robbery that just occurred. The Good Samaritan followed Collins in his vehicle on Huntington Drive, then chased Collins on foot until officers arrived. Officers arrived and found Collins hiding in a rear yard of a residence on Van Dyke Road.

Collins was taken into custody and placed into the back of a patrol car without incident.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with any additional information should contact Detective Gomez-Lara at (626) 300-0728.
