Suspect in Custody for Attempted Stolen Vehicle

On Sunday, Feb. 28 at approximately 3:42 a.m., the San Marino Police Department received a call from a victim in the 2700 block of Monterey Road.  The victim stated he observed an unknown person by his two vehicles that were parked in his driveway.

Officers arrived on scene approximately one minute later and located a male sitting in the driver’s seat of one of the victim’s vehicles. The suspect was later identified as Baltazar, Miguel (22 years of age, Los Angeles).

Investigation showed Baltazar entered one of the two vehicles that was found to be unlocked. Baltazar ransacked the vehicle and located the spare key to the second vehicle which was locked.
