Senior Joey Fuerst rained a barrage of three-pointers on his way to scoring 38 points and collecting nine rebounds while classmate Sean O’Brien added 30 points and four boards as San Marino defeated Panorama City St. Genevieve, 82-71.
Sophomore Xavier Duong chipped in with four points, juniors Michael Azinge and Duin Kim added three apiece and junior Jayden Hollomand and sophomore David Jiang each added two points.
“We were all so proud of our boys,” said SMHS head coach Mihail Papadopulos. “They showed so much faith and resiliency throughout this very challenging pandemic year.”
The Titans travel to Los Angeles Pilibos High School this evening at 6 p.m. and visit Glendora High School this Saturday at 3 p.m.
