A group of San Marino fathers recently got together at a private home in San Marino for the 6th annual “San MANrino Whiskey and Poker Night.”
After a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic, “Whiskey Night,” which has been a tradition since 2015, combined forces with “Poker Night,” which was brought back this year by perennial poker host Steve Levy.
The party was sponsored by event hosts Brian Wong, Chris Lee, Cho Nan Tsai, Gene Chuang, Greg Meier, Jerry Shen, Kevin Cheng, Leo Lei, Steve Levy, Sandeep Pathak and Ti-Wen Lin.
With more than 60 fathers in attendance, the event raised $5,000 for the Huntington Middle School PTA and $1,000 for San Marino High School’s Grad Night. This man-only event was a fun opportunity to raise a glass — and funds — in a night of celebration, all for the students.
