Parenting Event to Focus on Guiding Tweens, Teens

Do you as a parent struggle with having your tween or teen take responsibility for their homework, housework or use of technology? How equipped is your child to eventually leave home and to be an independent successful contributor to society? How can you work together as parents of a teen or young adult to preserve a healthy relationship?
Join parenting experts Joyce and Marv Warman as they share some of the methods they have learned over their 40 years of experience parenting and counseling. Marv Warman is an ordained minister and a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice.
Marv and Joyce Warman have served on pastoral staff with Evangelical Free Churches and Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, their home church, where they teach parenting classes and a premarital series, “Grounds For Marriage.”
The event is hosted by East Meets West Parent Education Club, on Saturday, March 11, from 2-3:30 p.m., at Crowell Public Library’s Barth Community Room. For more information and to register, visit emwpec.org.
