The gloomy weather did not stop the competition and fun at the 2023 Huntington Middle School Fox Games on Friday, March 10.
With rain in the forecast, event chairs Carmen Vishwanath and Nina Darling, with the help of HMS teachers, staff and parent volunteers, quickly changed the outdoor format of the games to include multiple indoor stations around campus. The large gym and wrestling room housed giant inflatables, the library was home to the brain challenges, the cafeteria held races, the dance room fittingly welcomed students to a “Just Dance” video game competition, and the covered lunch area had a slew of carnival games, as well as refreshments for students.
There was no better way to stay out of the rain and celebrate the end of the quarter than an afternoon with friends at the HMS Fox Games.
