St. Edmund’s Nursery School held its annual Parent Party and auction on May 12.
The “Mardi Gras”-themed event featured live jazz music by a band from the Encore Music and Performing Arts, as well as an assortment of appetizers and meals provided by local food business, Gumbo Boys.
Head of School Liz Westphal and the Rev. Susanne Wright-Anva joined parents and staff for the festive occasion.
St. Edmund’s Nursery is a faith-based church affiliated program with classes aiming to prepare children to enter elementary school while emphasizing basic self-help skills, spiritual studies and artistic expression.
