The San Marino High School varsity girls’ volleyball team was swept at Temple City, 19-25, 14-15, 16-25, in its regular season finale on Oct. 10.
Junior Chloe Wang racked up 13 assists, six digs, three kills, three blocks and one ace, while senior Malia Yu finished with 11 digs, three kills, one ace and one block. Senior Tessa Kackstetter recorded nine kills, four blocks and one dig, while sophomore Audrey Hoffman produced five kills, two digs and one block. Senior Mira Emamaullee contributed 11 digs, senior Aubrey Wendling registered eight digs, and junior Kailey Woo collected seven digs and one assist. Sophomore Sydney Park chipped in three digs and one kill, while sophomore Jenna Estandarte was credited with three blocks and one dig. Sophomore Maddy Tang notched two blocks, while sophomore Daniela Levy had two digs.
The Titans finished the campaign fourth in league with a 2-6 record (13-18 overall).
LA CAÑADA 3, SAN MARINO 1
The Titans lost to visiting La Cañada in four games, 13-25, 12-25, 25-9, 25-13, in a league match on Oct. 9.
Wang finished with 11 assists, six blocks, five kills, five digs and two aces, while Yu racked up 14 digs, two kills and two blocks. Kackstetter collected eight blocks, three digs and two kills, while Hoffman tallied four blocks, three aces, two digs and two kills. Wendling recorded 10 digs, while Park finished with nine digs. Tang registered three digs and one kill, while Emamaullee produced three digs and two assists. Senior Katelyn Li and Woo each contributed one kill and one dig, sophomore Lauren De Los Santos was credited with one assist and one dig, and sophomore Daniela Levy had one dig.
