Baseball: San Marino Rebounds, Wins Three Straight

After bouncing back in the Dave Moore Tournament with a two-run victory against Covina, San Marino High baseball strung together a pair of nonleague wins at home over the weekend.

The Titans shut out South El Monte in a Dave Moore Tournament game on Feb. 22, and came away with a five-run win against Flintridge Prep on Feb. 24 to secure their third successive victory.

The trio of wins comes after the Titans’ first loss of the season to Burroughs High in the Dave Moore Tournament opener on Feb. 16.

San Marino (5-1 overall) faced Foothill Tech at home on Feb. 27 ahead of its Rio Hondo League opener on the road against Monrovia on Feb. 29.
