The inaugural Rock Lacy! Battle of the Youth Rock Bands competition, open to ages 19 and younger, will award the first-place band the grand prize of two hours of studio recording time and a main stage performance at the city’s Independence Day celebration.
Following an application process, the competition’s finalists will be invited to an audition on March 23 at the San Marino Community Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Six bands will be selected to compete at Rock Lacy! on Saturday, April 20, at Lacy Park, starting at noon.
